I want to share with you what could have been the worst home-buying experience in my 32 years as a practicing professional had it not been for the beyond-the-call-of-duty efforts of one of your associates, Ms. Vanna Langdon.

The home my wife and I had concluded met our needs was listed with a "by owner" representative.  The sellers were going through a nasty divorce. Many, many times Vanna contacted the sellers, our lender and us as her client, providing sage advice, counsel and sometimes consolation for the drama the sellers created.  Had it not been for Vanna's valiant and extreme efforts as a dedicated professional, we would not be living in our home at this time.  This transaction was truly beyond the words "struggle" and "challenge" by exponential degrees, up to and including the closing.  Just to give you an idea of the pettiness of the sellers...they removed all the batteries from the smoke detectors and anything else not nailed down from the home prior to our final "walk through" inspection.  They also had significantly damaged the door jamb to the room which is now my home office in the process of removing items from that room.

Enough said about the sellers.  As the Area Medical Director responsible for 45 veterinary hospitals and 65 doctors which are part of the world's largest veterinary corporation, Banfield. The Pet Hospital , I likely understand and recognize professionalism more than most.  I can state unequivocally that Ms. Vanna Langdon is by far the most professional, tenacious, hard-working, loyal and dedicated-to-the-customer Realtor with whom I have ever had the privilege to engage.  Her ethics are outstanding and her advice and counsel demonstrated a true command of her profession.

Vanna recently helped my husband and I sell our house and purchase another. She has an excellent eye for detail, and is very knowledgeable with respect to real estate. She was always very prompt at returning our phone calls, very pleasant and patient in showing us lots of homes, and has an incredible amount of energy!!

About 8 months before we wanted to put our house up for sale, we wanted to meet with an agent and get some pointers on prepping the house for sale. I called several agents and Vanna was the only one who was willing to take the time to meet with us. She met with us and provided an accurate Market Analysis of our home, which included several tips on what would make the home more appealing to the buyers. Beyond this meeting, Vanna provided listings to us by mail, to keep us informed of what was out there on the market to buy.

In preparing our house for sale, we worked from the tips Vanna had suggested in her Market Analysis. Vanna also helped us in finding another house … and we had to find one quickly since our house sold so fast. Vanna was incredible! She was patiently devoted to helping us find the house that we wanted. As we approached closing, there were a few times when my husband and I couldn’t get off work to meet with a repairman or inspector.
